The NJ Academy of Music offers both outreach and event performances throughout the year.
Outreach
We strongly believe that outreach is essential to the longevity of classical music. Exposure to classical music can provide powerful benefits to people of all ages, including decreased stress levels, increased emotion and expression, and increased critical thinking (“The Mozart Effect”). We offer children’s programs for schools and libraries, adult continuing education programs, community activity programs, and retirement community programs in an effort to leave a lifelong, positive impact on all members of our community.
Events
Our advanced students are experienced performers who are comfortable playing in a variety of settings, including as a featured quartet, as a soloist, or as background entertainment. We invite the community to hire our students for weddings, corporate functions, family gatherings, and other events to create a classy, elegant setting.
